Yes there are a large number of natural leaks.. but correct me if I am wrong they slow release not gush out.
Wrong or right point taken on the natural oil seepage in the gulf as it is for sure no arguments a natural geological process.

The gulf spill is small potatoes compared to BP's global legacy of malice in international relations. I have tremendous respect for the British and British culture. My own DNA has Northeast Atlantic Islander stamped all over it. But I have little use for empire. Be it Rome's, Britain's, or America's.
