This episode of the “Best of UFOs Tonite!” took place on March 12, 1994 and my guest of Jim Delatosa. At the time there was a raging controversy over whether Delatosa had or did not have a PhD. He had been presented as “Dr. Delatosa” and had recently (at that time) been on a Fox TV program where his computer expertise had been on display.
Several weeks ago .. as I write this, I had sent some messages to a list I have access to speaking about my programs and giving the Paracast/Dark Matters Forum link so any interested parties could hear the shows. I received an email from Jim Delatosa, still very much upset over this interview. During the show we received two telephone calls that really took Delatosa to task over his Billy Meir work on photos and one of the calls was from Kal Korff. At that time I did not know Korff, and thought he was just another skeptical UFO investigator. (And Korff was not the raging LOONEY-TUNE he has turned into in the last few years!) This was also prior to Art Bell bitch-slapping Korff around when Korff lied about Bell on Jeff Rense’s radio program. At any rate this show got somewhat ugly but I have to give Delatosa credit where its due, he hung in there. However at the end of the show he accused me of “setting him up” and claimed he knew before the show that I was “setting him up”. This is ridiculous of course; I had no control over who listened to the show, nor who called the show when I threw the telephone lines open … however he still believes that it was a set up.
You never know what might happen during a live show especially when a controversial guest is on. You throw the dice and then see what you end up with. So, here it is … Jim Delatosa on March 12, 1994 .. a somewhat legendary episode of UFOs Tonite!.
