The Field Just Got Weirder

Free episodes:

I think that is very interesting. I don't know anything about this guy but it sounds like he has the money and the drive to dive into this crazy field.

For Americans who want to get a look at what this guy has to offer ufology, check out the link below. The guy obviously adores having his picture taken, and especially delights in mooning the camera. Then there's the erotic photo of Robbie and Beckham in bed. Hubba, Hubba!

What does this have to do with ufology? Not much except he would probably look good on the next "MEN OF UFOLOGY" calendar.

Robbie Williams is a successful British singer, with millions of albums and singles sold in the UK and Europe, possibly Asia and Australia, too. He has the same kind of status here as Justin Timberlake has in the US. He was a member of boy band, Take That, and comes across as a bit of a lost soul - he's been through rehab numerous times. I bet the UFO charlatans are all rubbing their hands together, as they plan on how best to fleece this possibly gullible millionaire of his fortune. That said, if he's prepared to take a logical approach to the subject, someone as famous as Williams could prove a valuable addition to the field.

Strikes me as more of the wealthy hobbyist. He'll move on when he gets bored of it.

I'm a straight, American, deeply Southern male in my 30's and cannot stand bullshit music, but I own one of Robby Williams's CDs and think that he has a couple of songs that are absolutely wonderful. I think there are several signs of character depth within the music, in the title of the CD (The Ego Has Landed), and when I watched a television interview with him several years ago (sort of a cribs kinda thing) I thought he had a great manner about himself and a very nice sense of humility despite his image. I applaud him for exploring and developing his personal depth through these pursuits. No matter how imperfect his approach, it beats the bulk majority of useless shit that people in his general position tend to occupy themselves with, and if he experiences personal revelations as a result then that is all that matters.

Well, I see Ted Phillips has managed to get $1389.94 in donations for his Marley Woods project. I'll bet Robbie spends more than that on a pair of shoes. C'mon Robbie...buy some sweet gear for Ted.

He has my support, because it's awful hard to raise money for anything these days.

I notice that the donations haven't been updated since early April, so maybe he'll have more optimistic news to report now.

Well, that's a damn shame, because this guy seems like one of the best I've heard. His money woes have nothing to do with this new, rich singer.

I've never heard of Robbie Williams--I'm more of a Neil Young, Bob Dylon, Leonard Cohen kind of guy--but if he can make a dent in the field, then good on him.
