Morgan Reynolds, who served as chief economist for the US Department of Labor during 2001–2, George W. Bush's first term, has done a little fact checking on the new Treasury Secretary:
Who is Geithner? He is a creature of the eastern banking establishment and ruling class through and through. His résumé nicely matches his actions in handing out government money and guarantees to the "right people." Geithner’s father Peter is director of the Asia program at the Ford Foundation, a New World Order operation. Peter Geithner oversaw the "microfinance" programs developed in Indonesia by Ann Dunham-Soetoro, Barack Obama’s mother. Geithner’s maternal grandfather, Charles F. Moore, was an adviser to President Eisenhower and vice president of Ford Motor Company, according to Wikipedia. Geithner’s wife Carole Marie, like Geithner a 1983 graduate of Dartmouth College (Ivy League), is daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Sonnenfeld of Princeton, N.J., a professor of French and comparative literature at Princeton University (Ivy League) for 27 years.
After Timothy Geithner graduated from Dartmouth he picked up an M.A. at Johns Hopkins in something called "international economics" and East Asian studies. That is the extent of Geithner’s formal training in economics, as far as I can tell. Then he worked for Kissinger and Associates for three years, a Rockefeller satrapy, before a series of government appointments, mostly at Treasury where he was Under Secretary for International Affairs under Robert Rubin of Goldman Sachs and Rockefeller’s notorious Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) and then Lawrence Summers of Harvard University (Ivy League), World Bank and CFR. Summers, of course, is currently Obama’s head of the National Economic Council. Want a solution for the financial and economic woes? Why, hire the same experts who caused the problem(s).
Geithner departed Treasury to join the International Monetary Fund and CFR in 2001–2. In October 2003 he was appointed president of the New York Fed where he subsequently arranged rescues of Bear Stearns, AIG and other well-connected,world-class losers, all in the best interest of the American people, of course. Earlier, I reported that NYT identifies Peter Geithner, in Timothy's wedding announcement, as the "program officer in charge of developing countries for the Ford Foundation." This just smells to me like a spook cover. I said so back then, before I knew about the connection between Obama's mother and Geithner's father:
One side note. Geithner graduated from the International School of Bangkok, Thailand. His father appears to be a possible CIA agent...It makes you wonder how long "they" have been grooming Obama as the "agent of Change" president.

My attitude towards the rest of the world is very simple. America has its own problems. Before we go off telling people how to live, and throwing money at their problems, it might be a better idea to fix our OWN problems first so we can actually be helpful.

Israel should be free to do whatever is necessary to protect itself from all enemies.

- Using the same logic: The Palestinians should be free to do whatever is necessary to protect their people from their enemies. If this includes killing Israeli civilians then that is an unfortunate but unavoidable matter. (Obviously I don't believe this but I'm using it to illustrate the point that this type of logic is a fallacy).

You might be disappointed in my attitude towards the rest of the world, but I'm a big believer that if you buy someone a fish, you feed them for a day. If you buy them another fish, they have no reason to fix their situation. If you try to teach some lazy fuck to fish, and they don't want to learn, let them starve to death until they get with the program.

That is a very arrogant attitude. Not every person in the world who is hungry is that way because he/she is lazy. This kind of thinking is symptomatic of the fact that most of us in the western world have our eyes shut when it comes to the true reality of life for people in third world countries. Most people are not lazy and I'd bet that the average person in the third world has a much tougher life than any of us do.

These poor nations that we've literally pissed away money on, have had their shot. They had bad leaders, and by allowing their bad leaders to stay in power, they have deprived their people of any kind of prosperity....The third world is the way it is, due to poor leadership of those respective countries.

The third world is the way it is for many reasons. The majority of the third world has been subjected to colonial rule and the most obvious effect of colonialism has been to strip countries of their resources for the gain of the ruling nation. Even as we speak the US is robbing Iraq of it's oil.

When former colonies gain independence this often leaves a power vacuum (as the previous power structures were usually dismantled). In addition many 3rd world dictators have been supported and financed by colonial nations such as the UK and US. Often colonial powers have been directly implicated in the coups which have lead to these crazy leaders gaining power in the first place. You can hardly say it's the people's fault.

We've tossed literally Trillions in foreign aid to the third world, and we're still throwing money at them, because they aren't interested in learning how to make their countries better. Not when there's America to pay them to stay dependent.

If you truly believe this then I fear there's is no hope for you.

Any illegal alien who comes to the United States, who births an anchor child, or children and is a welfare recipient. You truly are intellecutally dishonest for this statement. People in poor nations, are governed by evil people who hoard the wealth they scam from the United States and other countries. Their respective governments do not build anything, they take the money and fritter it away on palaces and other amenities that their ruling elite get to enjoy. On this we agree. It all started with world war I, and the league of nations. Once we started developing the oil fields in Saudi Arabia, and then allowed them to nationalize them, that was the beginning of most of the problems there.

I believe that there is one truth in this world. If you have a bad neighbor, you have a choice. Allow that neighbor to be a pain in your side, or take action to rid yourself of that neighbor. The land that Israel currently occupies, with the exception of what they took in the last 30 years, was bought with money from the United States, and what later became the UN. The Palestinians had seller's remorse 20 years after the Israelis gentrified the area. Which is why they wanted the land back. I'm of the mind that we should not be funding Israel, as like all nations, they should be able to stand on their own upon inception. I honestly believe that when the UN decided to create Israel, they should have done it in Mexico. At least then the United States would have better neighbors to the south that would be prospering, instead of what we see every day.

Try, it's despotism, and grotesque mismanagement of national resources. You take a look at what the so called "White Man's Burden" has given this world, and you suddenly realize, it was never about the betterment of the third world, or to bring them into modernality. It was about creating a class of people to exploit. They are nothing but people who are to be exploited. Their plight is nothing more than a money making scheme for the power elite. Giving aid to Africa, while skimming millions of dollars off the top. All the while the ones receiving the aid are again, mismanaging it, and that's just the aid our government hands out. Take a look at what the churches, and private organizations do. They too are in on the scam. Then when you take a look at these populations of these countries, you realize that they want a modern life, but aren't being enabled to do so. They are treated and continue to be treated like primitives, because if they were to truly be able to self sustain, then Trillions of dollars of skimmed money would evaporate.

The people of those countries are just as culpable as their governments, and the people perpetrating the scam.

You should understand that I don't set out to insult anyone. People choose what they're offended by. I am offended by lies, and willful ignorance. I also don't suffer from passive aggressive disorder. If I was going to call you a Communist, or a Socialist, I would have done so, Directly. I suffer from a lack of diplomacy, but have vast amounts of intellectual honesty, and do not screw around with prettying up my language.

I believe in a lot of things that are very simple on the surface, but are in fact very complex. You need to understand that the simplest answers are the right answers.

You need to revisit your Ethics class. Machiavellian philosophy is why we have the world we have today. Lies, treachery, and shades of gray thinking have gotten us the world we have, because NOBODY will speak the truth. You can't speak the truth for fear of offending someone. If you do so, you will be driven down into the ground, and drowned out. I am a pretty educated guy. I'm also a very critical thinker. I see the world EXACTLY for what it is.

Every problem in the world, has a very simple solution. We live in a very two dimensional world, yet we have enough liars, thieves, and traitors who serve their own interests first, who desperately want to make everything as nebulous as possible. The reason? They are the cause of the problems in this world, and then offer up their own solutions, which are also problems that again will have to be dealt with.

If you really wanted to solve the problems in the third world, the first way to do it, would be to cut off all aid, and contact with them. The whole Prime Directive thing. Let them grow, and evolve the way they would without our help. It's something that should have been done 500 years ago. Instead, the power hungry wealthy elites decided to expand their dominion. Apparently evil knows no boundaries, and that is why we have the world we live in today. If there really were an agenda to bring the third world, into the modern age, it could have been done 100 years ago. It wasn't, which is why you know it was always about control, and ensuring that there would always be a need to fleece those who produce out of their wealth and prosperity. Calling people narrow minded, or selfish is the fastest way to guilt them out of what they earned.

The United States was betrayed long ago by the uber elites. Just like the rest of the modern and third world nations were also betrayed by their elites. It's all about scamming people. It's not about bettering humanity. It's about taking the wealth from the irresponsible many, and putting it into the hands of the so called caretaking responsible few.

The FBI is conducting 530 investigations of corporate fraud - and targeting 38 of the biggest financial firms for wrongdoing tied to the economic earthquake, officials told Congress yesterday.
FBI Deputy Director John Pistole said the 38 firms are "significantly large, similar to Enron."
"These are companies, businesses that everybody knows about," he told the Senate Judiciary Committee.
He didn't identify them, but it was disclosed that Lehman Brothers, American International Group, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were on the target list last September when there were 26 open cases against major firms.
The suspected fraud is "directly related to the current economic crisis," Pistole said. He said the bureau foresees the number of targeted giant firms "rising into the hundreds."
Several criminal cases are already under way against firms tied to last year's $700 billion troubled-asset rescue, Neil Barofsky, special inspector general for the program, testified.
He said the feds are "closely coordinating our executive-compensation oversight efforts with the New York state attorney general," Andrew Cuomo.
Committee Chairman Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) told the witnesses: "I want to see people prosecuted. Frankly, I want to see them go to jail."

I did not ignore the parts played by Europe, and in fact explained that EVERYTHING is about money. Your sheer ignorance to what I've posted screams out your inability to comprehend the byzantine nature of the great plan by the power elite.

I just realized you were from the UK. You live in a Socialist / Totalitarian State. Let me know when you taste real freedom, and have it incrementally taken from you. Oh wait... The last 30 years in the UK have seen some of the greatest treachery against their own people. How do you like the influx of third worlders destroying your country? How's that working for you?
