I wanted to build a half Tardis to replace the front door to the house, You can get plans online for building a full sized one. The idea being you opened the tardis door and entered the house giving the illusion of it being bigger inside.

My wife however predicting the inevitable console in the downstairs rumpus room vetoed the idea.

I have to settle for a hat stand with my tom baker scarf and hat in the corner near the pool table.
Redoing the downstairs toilet with roundels was also rejected

I spent a lot of time sulking in the cloister room over that one
