Yea it does and the thing they have in common as does strange new worlds,they have characters you can bind with.I never quite got that with Discovery or indeed with Star Wars.
With Star Wars, it's partly a cultural phenomenon. When it first came out there were a lot of young men who could identify with the character of Luke Skywalker. These days the attention span of young people is too short to develop a relationship with a character like Skywalker. If it's not on a 40 second TicToc video — it's boring and irrelevant.

Well I have to say there is a lot of truth in that. I have noticed with the young people I work with even there podcasts tend to be 15 minute sound bites where as I prefer long form podcasts like the Paracast.
