Pardon my ignorance but who is Dr. Steven Novella? You've piqued my curiousity as to why he would make a great guest.

I wouldn't trust him. How do you know he really loves you? Because he says so? He could be lying, hallucinating or mistaking his feelings for other more mundane feelings.

His recollection of the show with Mamer could just be flashbulb memory which we all know is fallible.

I hate to be the one to tell you this, but someone had to say it.:rolleyes:

Dr Novella is the President of the New England Skeptical Society, and the head bod on The Skeptics Guide To The Universe podcast. He's an all round clever guy and he MIGHT actually do some research on the subject of the anomalous unlike Karl Memer who decided to just pop on without even a cursory understanding of the topics he'd be discussing.

However I think it'd be rather unlikely he'd be willing to come on.
 
I saw where David made a comment at the Ghost Theory website and was shown some love by the readers. Plenty of Paracast fans all over. :)
 
It appears there has been some trouble over on the comments portion of the website. It's too bad people have to screw up everything nice.
 
I hope The Paracast does not reach out to Novella. I don't see much value in having dogmatists on- whether they be religious fundamentalists or closed minded skeptics. We already have a good idea of what they're going to say beforehand. I think they all read from the same playbook when it comes to their skeptical talking points.
