Ever think they don't touch the subject often because they know most people will believe it's hysterical? The thought of E.Ts living along side of religion causes a stir, dis belief. Many think it's nonsense. Public panic would ensue, destroy most religions, because of the fact we're not alone.

Stay awake. Stay alert.
 
Certainly religion as it now stands would find such a reality disruptive to say the least.
But if there is one thing we know the major religions are good at, It's massaging the data to fit the facts.
Some will find passages in their holy books that support the new data and thus will be able to pretend their book was right all along and that there is nothing surprising in the news.
Others will simply go the "It's a deception" route .

Some will incorporate the new data, some will deny it.
