Forums are drying up all over the place. Texting, Facebook and Twitter now get most of the attention. In a way it could turn out to be a god thing because it's still a better method for anyone who is serious about a subject than the others. So in theory there should be less frivolous participation. In other words, maybe those who want a serious discussion will gravitate back to the forums and leave all the idle chatter to the other formats.
