Yes, that WAS interesting to read.
I've know a couple of people in the military who had seen or handled gun camera footage, air traffic control tapes, etc. The information is voluminous, but tightly controlled, and if you don't have the actual footage or tapes, it's hard to support your argument, no matter how much you know something to be true; you still end up looking like a 'UFO looney' without it. (ala Disclosure Project)

The discussion about Gordon Cooper is interesting, and somewhat fits with what Cooper himself discloses in his book, "Leap of Faith".

As I read your first paragraph Gordon Cooper came to mind heh.
