Saturday Update on Gene

I talked to Gene this morning and he is still in the hospital for back problems. Apparently they have shuffled him to a couple of different hospitals trying to determine the source of his pain. Finally today they think they have diagnosed it as an infection in his back, so now he is on intravenous anti-biotics to try and knock it out. That is all I know for now. I will keep everyone updated when I know more.

Thanks for the update Tim. I am thinking about Gene and we hope he gets well soon. Anyone missing the Paracast at present should remember the huge archive that is available.

There seems to be some missing episodes. That's how I found out about Gene's situation. I made an inquiry about them via the online form, but have not received any reply ( yet — that I know of ). This situation obviously explains why. I wish I'd found out from a happy healthy Gene himself. This sucks. We've already lost Chris. But what the heck am I saying? Gene will probably outlive us all ! Get well soon

Of course he will Randall. I will be in the ground and Gene will be celebrating 50 years of the Paracast.
