Sandseals on Mars?

I was looking at an image of Mars from Curiosity Rover. I noticed what looks like an hexagonal shaped depression in the ground with what looks like a seal (not a real one of course) coming out of the left of the hexagon. So I've drawn on an image to highlight what I could see and I've also inserted an untouched image so you can decide how much was due to my own mind filling in the blanks!

And the untouched image:

Ha Ha it really does look like a petrified seal!

If you have not seen it I recommend watching "cave of forgotten dreams" as lots of the cave paintings highlight the natural contours of the rock, giving the "paintings" an almost organic feel.
I was amazed at the skill of the artists. below is one example.

the paintings can be roughly dated to about 40,000 yes forty thousand years ago!
