The problem is that she incorporates different mythologies into theories and states it as fact, its irrelevant whether she actually believes her wacky stories, the problem is that she states her theories as fact and is labelled as non-fiction. Authors that do this is causing damage to the progress of all mankind (just my opinion) Watch the video in my original post and tell me why that's not the most ridiculous nonsense you have ever heard.

I understand your reaction. But trust me on this and give it a try. Watch the video again yourself, but this time imagine she's a teacher talking about various mythologies in a historical context. In such a lecture we'd take it for granted that the context is historical and based on cultural beliefs and legends rather than as literal truths. We wouldn't need to be reminded of it third sentence. If you give this an honest try, you'll be able to get a lot more out of it.

I get so upset because rosemary actually goes to several u.f.o. conference and tells these tall tales as fact. People pay good money to supposedly gain some level of truth about the u.f.o. phenomenon and money hungry people are taking full advantage of this.

You have a valid point, but I also think that a lot of people who go to UFO conferences realize they have to take them with a grain of salt. UFO conferences are more an entertainment and cultural phenomenon than serious academia.

I am similar to David Biedny in that I get very angry when I see signs that people are using ufology for their own greedy reasons, there are so many hard working ufo researchers, using legitimate research, that have dedicated their lives to finding some shred of truth to this great mystery, only to be upstaged by total frauds like David Icke

Oh ya ... good ole' David Biedny ... Mr Angry Human himself . There are times I think Dave should try working out his right brain a little more ( see this video for context ) . But seriously, I'm glad to see that truth and integrity in ufology matter to you. It is very important, and I'm certainly not making any excuses for people, just trying to help you get something positive out of a situation you would otherwise think has no value.
