He talks of tic-tac UFOs and the Ariel School UFO encounter among others in this nifty interview/promotion for his new movie (I was surprised not to find a single mention of the movie anywhere on the forums when searching, as I was trying to find a suitable place to post the link, but failed, so here goes anyway):

BTW - I just heard someone say - and forgive me I cannot remember who it was who said it and on what podcast they said it, so sorry about that - but they floated the idea that this whole disclosure thing is a a cover, a smokescreen, to confuse the playing field with what will be coming as announcements regarding new technologies. The guy was suggesting that pretty advanced stuff has already been developed by human beings - smart scientists - (one being fusion) - and for some reason has been kept on the quiet. He suggested there is a big revelation coming - and to avoid admitting that the government has had these things figured out for a very long time they will insinuate it's all reverse-engineering from aliens. This was what he was floating. I am not persuaded that the government needs this 'cover' but that's what he suggested.

Is that credible? It's true that most advance science is taking place under government auspices - not in some mad-inventor's garage somewhere in Kansas. It's all kept secret because of competition between countries. Okay. So how do you announce it all? How do you get the populace to accept 'sudden' significant technological advances?

I am a super fan of Elon Musk, but no matter the sheer brilliance of his accomplishments with SpaceX, I still have a problem with the scale of forces necessary to propel off the planet. I can't take space travel seriously until there is anti-gravity or something. Spaceships ferrying human beings to Mars have to be on a scale to make such travel healthy for those humans - and the itty-bitty spaceships they have now - as impressive as they are now compared to Gemini and Apollo - are still primitive imo.

Elon has a vision of the future that he sees described in world-building science fiction work of authors like Isaac Asimov's 'Foundation' series and science fiction author Iain M Banks' "Culture" book series. If he has those inputs why doesn't he see that he needs to build 'way-stations' before landing on Mars with humans becomes feasible. Of course, maybe he does see that - maybe the vision is far larger than he has ever let on - consider the shift to the moon and building out from there. Makes so much more sense. That changes the propulsion issue. But still ...

Anyway, these weird 'psyop drops' have a purpose. What? Can't figure out what makes fantasy better than just saying 'them's the facts, babe'.

Thanks for the promo video - interesting. My issue remains with the credibility of all these 'whistleblowers' and sensational 'evidence'. As much as I respect your worthy pastor sheer numbers of 'believers', however eminent, does not make any of it true to the claims.

The calibre of those whistleblowers - their stories - were exceedingly poor. Totally unbelievable. Badly trained. Transparently bogus imo.

The tic-tac UFOs - again, bogus. IMO. Consider Mick West's analysis -

I offer the below video as a shorter and simplified analysis by Mick West. I'm focusing on this because it was one among several events that Spielberg mentioned as compelling evidence (for him). Again, what I see is just a pile-on of many people re-iterating pov's that are far from legit.

Spielberg mentions the Ariel school incident - too complex to go into here. There is no question that there have been some pretty strange events that have happened over the years - like the Betty and Barney Hill incident.

Growing up there was even a rather well documented UFO Flap that took place a few towns over from where I lived. Very strange events witnessed by very sober people. Maybe I'll post about it - there are some excellent interviews about that particular incident - especially interesting have been body language analysts assessing the interviewees for truthfulness.

I actually have not paid any attention to this stuff, though vaguely recall these stories around 2017. I think that they are released as a trio, in all caps, as a naming pattern (FLIR, GIMBAL, GOFAST) is suspect in itself. Perhaps these sort of propaganda tidbits are kept on hand in the government to throw out when needing a distraction. The latest batch seemed to happen around the time of the attack on Iran. (The Canadian sketch comedy show even seemed to update the video title of their old sketch "Moon Bears" when the news hit, spoiling the joke). I think these sort of videos... it's always some unclear dot in the distance... It felt vaguely excuseable when it was people's home VHS camcorders in the 80s, but that was about it. It got old even then with TV programs showing somene trying to zoom in on stuff far away without shaking the camera too much. Mick West's breakdown seems quite brilliant, though. Now I am watching another interview with Spielberg, from CBS Morning, which is more in depth and personal. He talks of being taken out to a park at night suddenly by his dad to watch a comet show. I'll be intrigued if people like the movie, because a lot of excitement about UFOs seems to have passed now over time? like it had its heyday back in the 70s, its peak. People aren't filled with wonder toward the stars like they used to be, they're more self-obsessed with their phones and personal lives. Probably Spielberg's movie is more of a human tale anyway than an attempt at revelation. I saw strange lights in the sky as a kid, but it's a distant memory to me now. I couldn't think of an explanation, there was no sound like from helicopters. They moved about in colors in kind of a strange way over the view from the woods near my house. So that may have set me off a little to being partial to UFOs/aliens, but I struggle to even believe in outer space these days, such as Elon's space flights. I probably should hold my tongue on that one, though. It makes me sound too weird. (Seriously, he shot a Roadster into space with a spacesuit in it? why? that wasn't done in a garage against a green screen?)

Those are interesting ideas about advanced technology needing to hide behind a smokescreen of UFO-alien excuses for the public to accept it. I think some people do think that's how much of our tech in the computer era has come about, right? I've heard so many ideas in many years of listening to fringe material, like the idea the Ark of the Covenant had advanced teachings or a computer in it, which ancient man didn't know what to do with, but we slowly started figuring out, back engineering. I don't remember where I heard that. I'll ask the computer. But probably just bringing it up because of Spielberg (Raiders). Ah, it claims something called "Bell Labs" had a hand in making computers. They must be talking about the Nazi bell-shaped UFOs...

OK! Um, back to reality... reality... where is reality again?

I forgot to answer this. But I guess it's because I shouldn't assume to know. Can be multi-step process with intention behind it, 1. input me something about pastors needing to know about AI to prepare their congregations, 2. human editing of text, 3. feed it back in with your changes, 4. output again, but it's too long, 5. new input: okay that's great but make it shorter its just for facebook, 6. 3rd ai-gen output
it could be many situations! i just thought it had that "tell-tale" cadence of AI-generated text that seems common these days, i really don't know. i do spend a lot of time "chatting" with Copilot, though, the much maligned version of chatgpt.

There's just certain formatting and patterns that people have picked up, younger people are more adept at noticing it, as it's apparently affecting people's speech and writing patterns too even when they're not trying to use AI; it's affecting the culture.

Crap, I just realized I still didn't answer your question. I don't know of any agentic AI making Facebook posts, no, but I don't keep up to speed on this that much... so it would still require human intent, a person's idea for what they wanted the post to say, even if they're using an AI service to help create the text. If a lie, I'm not sure why it would be made besides just for click money.
