this is my blind cat Sugar sleeping a few minutes ago. she comes to work with me everyday. she is tired from playing fetch all morning. i throw a soft mouse toy about 25 feet across my studio and she finds it and brings it back.
she is 1.5 years old and was born blind.
yes she runs into stuff all the time. yes she falls off things. she scans the room with her ears to locate things. a very interesting cat. she will not run out the door when clients come in. i am on broadway with much traffic going by. she knows it is safer inside with me. i can get out of the car and hang her over my shoulder and even with a bus going by a couple feet away she does not shred my back with her claws.

Jet and Sugar love to run and play tag. poor Sugar runs into everything. i have had to put pillow bumpers on the corners of stuff.

Jet looks like a long-haired version of my female, Moosie! I love my little black and white! The last guy is Loud Boy...yellow tabby, and VERY opinionated!
