Questions for Ed Komarek

Ed is a vocal advocate and self-appointed spokesperson for the exopolitics movement within ufology. He has been creating inside contacts within government and ufology for decades and his views represent what many feel is going on in our reality. He is finishing up a book that encapsulates his thinking. Here are links to the intro and first four chapters. As listeners of the Paracast know, Gene and I are highly dubious and skeptical of how effective an "exopolitical" approach to ufos can be since we have not one shred of evidence that ufos are from another planet or galaxy. "Cart before the horse," as they say...

Ed's bio:
"Ed Komarek lives a simple quiet life dedicated to an understanding of himself and the nature of life and living. He suspects that life as we know it is a high tech nano virtual reality program. He believes that we are eternal beings existing in a greater immaterial universe of which the material world is a subset. We enter into a body in order to experence from the inside this virtual reality field. This virtual reality program acts as a school where one chooses moment by moment lessons to be learned mostly on a unconscious basis. The determining factor is to become aware of the unconscious choices we make so as to exercise our free will. We have free will but it is up to us to exercise that free will and take responsibility for our thoughts and actions."

Question: What is your plan of action if an official encounter with extraterrestrial beings somehow goes wrong (e.g.- the ETs do not respond as anticipated to your diplomatic overtures, perhaps responding aggressively)?

How well have you been able to gain inroads within the government having such fringe beliefs? Or do you not share the controversial aspects of your belief system? It would seem these beliefs would hinder any serious effect you could have with the mainstream let alone with fellow ufologists.
