In case you missed it, CBS finally announced the start date for the final season of Person of Interest . It will run 2x a week starting May 3 and run to June 21. 13 episodes in all.

It's been away so long I would hope they will do a catch up episode the night before but i haven't heard of that being in the works.

I hope as the season progresses we wil see the return of Nathan Ingram ( in flashbacks) Sameen and a crippled but still quite alive Elias
 
Person of Interest is being dumped after the fifth season. CBS doesn't own the program (Warner Bros. TV does.) Thus CBS makes very little profit from the show. Enjoy it while you can.

It is. It was announced this was it and because this was anticipated the producers promise that all the details will be wrapped up, there won't be any unresolved issues .. But having said the the producers aren't ruling out a reboot somewhere down the line.
