I can't believe I've never heard of you guys until now, you should really work on some kind of advertising :D

I actually found out about Paracast during a conversation with a friend about the fraud who is Stephen Greer. He recommended I listen to the interview Paracast did with him, telling me that for once he didn't get a free pass on his BS. I've been hooked ever since!

I'm so tired of listening to people like George Noory giving everyone a nod, regardless of how much of a nutball they are.

Keep it up guys.

Actually its sort of a rule that you must listen to all back episodes in one stretch over the course of a single weekend. Failure to do this will result in a lifetime subscription to the online C2C archive.

I think I'll pass on the C2C subscription...

I'm working on the archive, great stuff thus far. I'm a little confused though. They're allowed to question AND disagree with guests? You can do that?? Whaaaat!?

Guess what I do with all my "missing time"?

That makes 2 of us .

My brother enlightened me about theparacast.

George Noory interviewed some nutcase claiming aliens would walk through the Large Hedron Collider. I am sure sum1 on the forum knows whom i am referring to, coz i cant recall his name now.
George Noory quized him about his sources, which he says his drawn everything from other sources / books / interviews by someone else.:exclamation:

OMFG.

Geez, I don't know how everyone searches for the podcasts of choice, but a lot of people use ITunes. And if you search for "UFO" the Paracast comes up third. Easy enough.

Oddly enough though, this ridiculous show called Skepticality comes up first. It should be called Debunkicality, because their mind is pretty made up. This kind of show gives the word "skeptic" a bad name.

Let me also jump in here...i posted some very stupid initial comments on the forum here a while back, cause there was a discussion going through Binnall of america, and it sort of painted the paracast in a bad light. After now having - both in depth and more sporadically (depending) - listened to about 85% of the back archives, i gotta say it has added so incredibly much to my thoughts on the whole paranormal-ufo field. If theres a better, or somewhat comparable, podcast on these subjects please let me know...cause im running out of paracast episodes ; )

Just keep badgering Don Ecker to bring his show back on. Then we will have 2 great shows to keep our minds occupied.

found it through iTunes because of Mysterious Universe... very different in their approaches to these subjects, one is like Tom Snyder and the other like Craig Ferguson.

both delicious.

Every time Gene and David disagree with a guest, I get a little piece of my sanity back which died at the hands of people like George Noory and Whitley Strieber. :D

Paracast hasn't taken, say, Richard Hoagland and/or John Leer to task, have they? I'd lose control of my bowels with excitement!

What shows are absolutely must haves? I plan to go through the majority of them over time but where to start?

I listened to latest one with Ecker which gave me some great insight into the direction of the show and views of the hosts; great show btw, finally some guys with some common sense on the air.

The one with Richard Dolan was riveting, I was all ears from start to finish, awesome guest. I've heard him on C2C but Noorey obviously ruined the whole deal because it was no where near as interesting.

Stephen Bassett astounded me with his disregard for the truth and reality in general in his interview. I was happy to see his views getting nailed to the floor for once.

Suggestions?

Do what i done and start from the bottom of the list and work your way up  every single episode is worth a listen.

I used to listen to Eerie Radio, but they were just too juvenile for me to continue, that, and they were always taking shots at another paranormal podcast that took themselves "too seriously".

I liked BTR, but couldn't keep up, I might resubscribe sometime.

Paracast is pretty much my only source for paranormal radio these days. I've sumbstituted the other shows for Adam Carolla, the 404, and the Dean Blundell Show.

The Greer interview was my first listen as well and it had me hooked since then. In fact, interest in the Disclosure Project is what led me to the paracast in the first place.

Zombie, FYI: it's George Snoory from now on. :D
