petershelley.jpgPeter William Shelley Born in San Jose, California, Peter Shelley has had an active interest in UFOs and the paranormal since the 1960s. While still a child in 1969, he had a UFO experience that convinced him that the phenomena was absolutely real. After high school, he attended film school with the intention of becoming a film producer. In the late 1970s, he moved to Los Angeles and worked in cartoon animation as an artist. Ultimately, he was employed at Hanna-Barbera Studios and worked on such TV series as “The Godzilla Power Hour” and “Jana of the Jungle."

An avid listener to podcasts on UFOs and the paranormal, he became dissatisfied with the quality of many shows (except ours of course) and in 2020 started his own podcast on YouTube called “Shadowy Spectrums." As there are already a huge number of paranormal podcasts, he has made his niche to focus on interviews with researchers outside of the United States. So far, he has interviewed UFO and paranormal researchers from Sweden, Spain, Chile Hungary, Japan and Argentina. Currently he resides in Bogota, Colombia, where he has lived for more than 10 years teaching English.

Fascinating Cultural Info: About that photo of Peter holding up a book from Eando Binder: It was the pen name of two sci-fi authors, Earl Binder and his brother Otto Binder. In addition to his interest in UFOs, Otto wrote comic book scripts for Shazam (when the character was known as Captain Marvel) and created Supergirl for D.C. Comics.

Yes guys, could you please ask Peter about sightings in Japan.

Japan like America is a big country and I have always thought there are bound to be more sightings there than we typically hear about.

During After The Paracast, Peter is apparently misinformed about the David Jacobs/Emma Woods matter, relating to a lurid set of abduction experiences.

I mentioned the URLs on the topic to check out and set him straight, but they are no longer active sites.

So, courtesy of Wayback, here they are:

First, the Emma Woods fact-checking site:

And David Jacobs' site:
