Brent Raynes began researching UFO events in the late 60s and met nearly every major contactee and researcher in the field. He wrote articles for Fate Magazine, Recovery Times, and various other magazines as well as writing a chapter for Dr. Bert Schwarz’s "UFO Dynamics," sections for Dr. Greg Little’s "Grand Illusions"and "People of the Web." He has also presented at several major UFO conferences and been a co-leader of tours to American mound sites.Raynes is the author of such books as "Visitors from Hidden Realms" (2004), "On The Edge of Reality" (2009) and "John A. Keel: The Man, The Myths, and the Ongoing Mysteries" (2019). He is the editor of the online magazine Alternate Perceptions. He has spoken at numerous conferences and workshops and has appeared on radio and podcast's such as The Paracast.
Brent has worked with the Dr. Edgar Mitchell Foundation for Research into Extraterrestrial and Extraordinary Encounters (FREE), contributed a chapter for their book "Beyond UFOs" (2018), and also worked with the UFO Contact Center International.
