Researcher Micah Hanks, of The Gralien Report, joins us to discuss strange objects in orbit around the Earth that were being seen during the golden age of Ufology. Researcher Donald Keyhoe believed some of these were “alien motherships”; we’ll look at how the discoverer of Pluto became involved in determining what these objects were, as well as the peculiar search for Earth’s second moon, and the continuing search for “moonlets” today.

Over the years, mystery objects in Earth orbit have helped promote belief in what is known as “The Black Knight Satellite”, a hypothetical alien probe that has monitored Earth for 13,000 years. Hanks explains the scientific discoveries behind this modern legend, which have built onto a mythos over the years.

This episode will be recorded Thursday afternoon from 1:30 until 3:30 PM Arizona time (MST).

Can the black knight satellite be monitored or can it be captured in any way via an effort by the US gov?

    1. Are there typical directions of movement for various types of manmade satellites seen over North America? If so which directions correspond to different types of satellites.
    2. What direction of travel would be considered highly unusual?
