Maybe the gubberments have nothing to disclose...

What if all they have is a few thousand photographs of unidentifiable objects in the sky, maybe better than what we've seen, but still unidentifiable?

Maybe some film which might be dramatic, but still inconclusive.

What if the gubberments are as divided over explanations as much of the UFO field is?

What if they don't want to disclose what they have, for fear of looking impotent and helpless in relation to UFO's.

What if there were no crashes, nothing recovered, and no ET's ever seen?

No reverse engineering, no alien technology, just a puzzle they can't solve...

A super power that can't solve problems... Yeah that would be embarrassing.

First rule in domination/control, never show your weak side if you don't have to. Luckily for them they haven't had to.

It would probably take an overt 'independance day' attack as suggested by Hollywood to admit anything... and you'd also have to survive the attack to appreciate the knowledge. ;)

The governments won't disclose that they've got nothing for fear that other governments DO have something.
