Human race will 'split into two different species

You know, if you're writing an article and you're going to make a comparison, it's probably a good idea to check your sources first:

Dr Curry's theory may strike a chord with readers who have read H G Wells' classic novel The Time Machine, in particular his descriptions of the Eloi and the Morlock races.

In the 1895 book, the human race has evolved into two distinct species, the highly intelligent and wealthy Eloi and the frightening, animalistic Morlock who are destined to work underground to keep the Eloi happy.

Aren't the Eloi the stupid, pretty cattle and the Morlocks are the guys running the show?

Whoops.

Dunno.

I found it foolish to say with certainty our path. Especially since we have (and will have even more) technology that will play a role in our evolution. 3000 years from now, if we are still around, we will be able to do things to ourselves that can only be imagined today. As well as the unimaginable.
