Further to an earlier story on the subject, it transpires through a little digging- that there may be two such cases in London, one in Hammersmith, or there abouts... the other in Acton.
In either event, or indeed the sole case if it is, the Routemaster Bus- daubed in Wartime regulation markings (Blitz era), is indeed preceeded by a rush of air, then as the bus sweeps past it leaves but silence as it vanishes into the night through what is now shop frontage.
Still hunting for more on this... but any other snippets would be welcomed.
