There is a show on History Channel tonight call Egypt Decoded. It's a fascinating look at a theory of how the Pyramids were part of a large construction project designed to replicate crucial astrological alignments.

The implication is that this design is much older than current accepted dates. Very plausible.

How much older??? Did the documentary say?? Is it in line with the dating Robert Schoch did of the Sphinx?? Didn't he say that the Sphinx in his estimation was 10,000 years old???
 
The Egyptians may well have inherited some raw form of the Sphinx
from a previous group , then modified it as best they seen fit.
Just a thought
