In my area a new form of Cinema is being previewed by Douglas Trumbull that is different than 3-D and better than regular Cinema. There is an event called Cinerama Science Fiction Festival. Douglas Trumbull is previewing a 10 minute show of his movie called " UFOTOG" which is supposed to stand for UFO Photographer. UFOTOG. The clarity and depth of the visual screen is supposed to be revolutionary. I would assume he would also be playing this in other cities. This is one show that if in your area would be one to catch.
The 12-minute science fiction adventure was written and directed by Trumbull and demonstrates his new technical process, MAGI − a new cinematic language that invites the audience to experience a powerful immersion in the story that is not possible using conventional film standards.
