Paul, thanks for posting this. While I don't agree with everything Harvey says, it is good to see this type of dialogue on the Paracast Forum. Frankly, it freshens things up a little and goes beyond the same old stories surrounding UFOs. I personally would like to see more podcast shows done on topics other than UFOs, and more shows involving frontline investigators and witnesses if about UFOs. One can only talk about the state of UFOlogy, or the old cases, so much before you start getting a little jaded.

I would love to broaden the focus a bit as you suggest, and talk about issues beyond the paranormal. I don't think that's something that Gene is in favour of, however, and I suspect the majority of listeners wouldn't be interested either... although I would love to be proved wrong! :)

Like you, I don't agree with all of Harvey's analysis, but I think his general thesis is pretty darn solid.

I also agree with some of what he said but he misses the mark. our economy here in the USA was designed to fail... most likely in order for socialism and/or a global government (NWO) to take root. Paul are you a socialist?.... a communist maybe? Harvey seems to be an excellent sheep herder. He rounded up a few here already I see. ;0)

Pixelsmith, out of curiosity why do you believe that capitalism was 'designed to fail'? Do you think someone, at some point, was insightful enough to establish processes within the capitalist system to ensure failure? Also, if those in power under the current system can continue to accumulate wealth and in doing impact elections, foreign policies, control foreign governments, etc., why would they want to risk all that by ensuring 'failure', thus potentially jeopardizing the advantages they have. Who is doing the designing? The Bilderbergs, as Richard Dolan often talks about them? How does the notion of the Bilderbergs foot with the upstart hedge fund manager from a modest background who has accumulated more wealth, and therefore in many respects influence, than many of rumored Bilderbergs combined?

Answer what? That you asked whether I was a communist just because of a post I made that presented a particular point of view? Wow. Who are you... Joe McCarthy?

Let me be clear - I've read your posts for some time now, and I think you're one of the most uninformed, easily led and manipulated people I've ever run across, even as you yourself seem to think that you're the only clear-headed on on any of these issues. Hopefully that clears it all up for you.

And to make you feel better, I'll add a winky face. ;)
