COMETA Report in English

Skilled Investigator
It was mentioned in the last broadcast that the COMETA was to be found in its original French. While this would not be entirely shocking, as the French have a real affinity for their language, I thought I'd seen the report in English.
A little digging, and I came up with what claims to be an accurate translation. Now if we could get all the reports that they recently released in English as well.

Dear colleague.
One additional and also interesting information about the translation.
The english translation was available few months after the french release in 1999. Unfortunately there were some legal problems with it that you can check here;

http://www.virtuallystrange.net/ufo/updates/2000/may/m25-004.shtml

Some sites also had to withdraw the FUFOR versions at the time if I can remember correctly.

About the recent release from GEIPAN, for few months now, with the help of few colleagues I am doing manual entry of all the available cases so far that we want to put in the statistical database.
For now I have made a preliminary experimental analysis of a very small sample that don't have any weight in the statistical sense because it is a very small sample. Of course, that is not
relevant for any kind of serious conclusion. It is made more for the presentational purpose for now. It is available here:

http://hostanje.net/~transfer/uforadio/eseji/geipanstatistic-eng.html

Anyway, we will manualy enter the whole database soon in the next few months so then the real work will begin.

You can also try to surf the GEIPAN archives with the Google Translator in English like this;

Best regards

My apologies, I was not aware that there were legal issues with the report. The last thing I would want to do is step on anyones hard work.

No, no I didn't mean to say that the post was out of order :)
Don't worry dear friend. Just wanted to mention one interesting controversy about the issue. No direct connection with your links.

Anyway, knowing the reputation of NARCAP, the hosting of the report at their site is probably OK. Anyway I haven't heard of any complaints of that.

Best regards

Hey Giuliano,
I had no idea you were in Zagreb! What a great city. I spent time there when I was working on some things in Romania during the revolution. We'd base in Italy and travel through Yugoslavia.
Best gyros I've ever had, anywhere. I vividly recall lazy sunday afternoons spent wandering. It was always great to get back there after a couple of weeks in Romania.
In UFO related topics, I really enjoyed your program. I downloaded them and have started to listen. You've got the english down pat.
What can we expect, will there be more?
Pleeeeeaaaaassse no Roswell.
;) ;)

Dear colleague.
It was nice to read your comments :)

About the program - the upcoming interview is with the Apollo 14 astronaut, Edgar Mitchell and with Dean Radin from the Mitchell's Institute for Noetic Sciences. It was done back in June - but still have to catch some time to upload it - I will put in online probably in the next 2-4 weeks. He talked a lot about his views on the UFO phenomena - especialy the meetings that he had in Pentagon about the UFO issue - some facts about this whole issue (Pentagon meeting) was also presented at Paracast by Richard Dolan in his last show.

Read ya :)
