Well I don't know about the dark glasses but you certainly ask your guests for information.So I was going over old photos when I ran across the following license plate and custom frame, which I set up a decade ago for my old Honda. So here it is, without comment:
Wish I knew where the old license frame went, though. Might be nice to use that again.
Speaking of blasts from the past, this is the first issue of FATE magazine from 1948. Note the 25 cents price, and the author of the lead article. Today, the current issue is $5.95 from the publisher.
Just to put things in perspective: This is a reprint, not the original, and it's still available. It also uses far better paper than the cheap pulp used in those days. Unless preserved, magazines that old are just flaking apart.
