Weird. He cuts a caller off for saying a certain person's name, then talks about giving the guy's phone number to Fox security. Fox security, "big trouble"!? Lol.

 
i am not an american, but one brief luk at bill o'reilly's program is more than sufficient to note that his program is nethin but fair and balanced. Murdoch visited Belgium prolly two or three years ago and he was interviewed in Belgium television. i was at home visiting my parents and it was so funny coz the host nailed hime big time as to how many of the shows in fox news are blatantly right wing supporting, yet they dont say it. Murdoch finally gave in, kinda and said sometimes whats being said on air might be the personal opinion of the hosts as such! Well i believe that totally! :p

but gotta admit the guy's humor! his French boycott campaign was freakin ossum! :p not to forget the fact he mentioned an article in a journal titled Paris business Review which claimed that the campaign had resulted in some losses for the French business interests in the us, only thing is such a journal does not even exist! :p
 
I am, by most measures (but not all, by any means), a conservative. Nevertheless, I see Bill O'Reilly as one of the biggest creeps and phonies in the media. He pretends to be objective, and loves to self-aggrandize. But every time I look at him I see the guy who bullied a female producer, who dropped a multi-million dollar settlement on this poor woman to keep his "reputation" from being totally ruined in a sexual harassment suit. Like all bullies, he's a bigmouth with no substance supporting him. He's a disgrace with the values of a pig.

As much as some people hate O'Reilly, you have to understand that he is just an entertainer, period. He is controversial because that produces ratings, and that's what he gets the big bucks for.

That's right. And in a country like ours the best way to vote is to turn the clown off. Unfortunately, people like O'Reilly and Franken have undue influence on people who allow political predisposition do most of their critical thinking for them. They've turned legitimate political discourse into a game show, with winners and losers, so that finding common ground is no longer appropriate. It's become a winner-take-all game, with Dems and Repubs taking turns winning and taxpayers providing the jackpot.

I have to respectfully disagree with you, Gene, because of my feelings towards the mainstream media in general. The controlled and highly compromised media are the 4th branch of government IMO. FOX NEWS in particular are yellow journalists that rival Hearst Corp. Bill O'Reilly knows exactly what he is doing and that he is spreading disinformation.

Something quite funny (and sad at the same time) is he is a total fraud in what he use to promote. He was/is highly interested in the JFK conspiracy. He wrote several articles about it and even did a piece on Hard Copy about it. Now he says it was all lies. Same goes with his degenerate cohort, Michelle Malkin. Here is a person who writes books about putting Americans in FEMA camps yet posted a story about 9/11 being an inside job in 2002. These are the kinds of people FOX wants. People who are knowledgeable but are willing to sell their soul for money. Most of the people who work in the mainstream are indeed yellow journalists and O'Reilly is indeed among that group of traitors.

Not a journalist, but an entertainer. He will say what is necessary to get ratings. Facts often take second-place in such situations.
 
I would agree that he SHOULD be an entertainer, but he is a journalist/reporter to a lot of people. I consider it a poor choice of how to get your "news" but so many people in this country use TV shows like his to get what they think is the "news" to them. That speaks more to how sad a lot of people are, but it's reality. Heck, some people get their "news" from the Daily Show and consider it news. Scary.
