After 3 weeks of intensive work, new media pressclipping project is
completed. This media wave happened on August 3rd, 2011 on different BBC
radio stations. Shows were aired in connection with alleged UFO sighting by
BBC sport reporter Mike Sewell. Audios are now preserved for historical
record and research purposes. Approximately 30 hours of audios were
processed and approximately 44 men hours were invested in this project. I
had to process manually every show and to edit and extract audios with UFO
references. Every audio file is nicely tagged. You can import all audio
files at once as a playlist in Windows Media Player if you start the
playlist file in root folder named:
Play.All.Tracks.wpl

Some audio pieces have references that are not always directly connected
with UFOs but they are preserved in the sake of continuity (for example you
can listen Mike Sewell's original sport report from the beginning that lead
to his UFO story).

What is new in this package? One good novelty is better research support.
For example, in this package I have also separately extracted audio bits
with important and interesting statements (audio bits of UFO sightings could
be of interest for UFO podcasters too). There are 26 tracks of audio bits.

During extractions and monitoring of endless hours of different media
stories for the purpose to extract UFO references, there are many
interesting media reports that are not directly related to UFOs. It would be
a loss not to save them too as a small record of time period when media wave
happened. This time I have even preserved some of those and you can find
them in folder BONUS AUDIO (I am especially recommending interview with
Kevin Mitnick about Hacker conference in Las Vegas).

The whole package of audio files is now available in one RAR file (link at
the top of this post - use Winrar to extract audios after download).

I've been working my way through these recordings and much credit to uforadio for meticulously putting this together. I really do have to grit my teeth though listening to the giggly way the mainstream media handle this topic. Particularly some of the stupid comments and questions by the presenters like Liz Green trying to put words in Timothy Good's mouth about "Little Green Men" and lizards. And also some of the stupid explanations by listeners blaming the sighting on stars and light refraction etc. How could light refraction explain a low flying object with flashing light panels descending and banking across a field? :) And Tony Robinson saying that the answer lies in the fact that it was twenty miles from Stansted Airport. But wherever you are you are never far from an airport so that was a stupid comment.

I really wouldn't be surprised if Mike Sewell is already regretting coming forward with all of this. Also it did occur to me that if it was anyone else who had experienced this sighting it would have hardly registered anywhere in the news.
 
Thank you for this, recently found the 3 min thread on the BBC website and was fascinated by this. I actually live nearby where it was sighted and actually have the means to speak to the guy becuase of a work thing, just a bit concerned that it would be a bad idea for proffessional reasons, suspect it would be a bit pointless given that he has already spoken out - but it's tempting I have to admit...

Hi Jase. Have been busy with another project. Just returned to this thread after some time.
ADrive keep links active for 2 weeks. After that it automaticly deactivates the link. That is the reason why the link is dead.
