Hey there!
I get Asimov's and Fantasy and Sci Fi Magazines. There are some great stories in the latest issues. In Asimov's there are some really outstanding stories, My favorite in the September, 2008 issue, there iis one called "In the Age of the Quiet Sun" which had me riveted. "Soldiers of the Singularity" is also pretty good. In F&SF Septembermy favorite is "Arkfall." Arkfall is really worth reading. It takes place under the ice on an unknown planet. Very cool story with "organic" ships and an adventure on the other side of the (undersea) mountains. I love these magazines. I sit down and read them usually in a single sitting. Boy am I disappointed when I've read through the whole thing and I have to wait another month for a new issue.
I also subscribe to UFO Magazine, which I heard about on the Paracast. The latest issue has a very good and appropriately skeptical treatise on Fairies. Another one I highly recommend.
