Grusch didn't make up stories. As I see it, he is just a disinformation agent who sought to sully the idea of crash retrievals, and a coverup, by citing one or more dubious accounts.

I don't buy the article's claim that genuine info on aliens would've leaked out by now, or long ago. History shows the government is capable of keeping some secrets (its most important ones). To cite one example, it kept ULTRA secret not only during the war, when the necessity was most obvious, but for 30 years afterwards.
