    Star Trek strange new worlds

UFOlogy is controversial not (basically) fictional, yet the masses just don't have the same interest in it that they have in sci-fi. Everyone has heard of ST and other fiction yet relatively few have heard of MUFON.

    Star Trek strange new worlds

If only UFOlogy had half as many fans and $ as out and out fiction...

    American idiot's

Lol you can't state that categorically. Stan Friedman--to cite one example--had plenty of intelligence and was convinced ET is here.

The Birthday of the Modern UFO Field

Yes that started the modern UFO era. Of course there were sightings, even contacts, prior to that.

Besides reports of the confiscation of evidence, there remains plenty in the public domain such as landing traces. Not conclusive, necessarily, but the point is the idea of ET vessels isn't based just on human testimony.

UFO's and cosmic seeding of technologies

You should see The Alien Grand Design and its take on crashes. But the scenario above is unnecessary inasmuch as we're progressing technologically pretty fast hence should be at their level fairly soon anyway. I've always doubted claims that ETs made us.

You can't state that categorically. It is the most parsimonious view. Least likely. Projections from our consciousness don't leave landing traces etc. As for interdimensional, what other dimensions are even verified let alone shown to be habitable, to the point of giving rise to technical...

There have been a number of reports of the government confiscating physical evidence. We may not have hard proof they know but it's a reasonable conclusion.

Right, even if much of what we've been told about it isn't... Lol no he wasn't….If only people would read The Alien Grand Design they'd see just how pervasive the disinfo network has been.

I think the "national security" concern is misleading.

Of course; the key difference is the potential impact of the latter on current society, so they have to keep it secret. But they most certainly are interested.

I think they're very interested. Look at all the money they've poured into Mars research. Almost certainly, microorganisms are all they might find. UAPs probably represent civilization far more advanced, from which we may learn a lot.
