  1. Constance liked smcder's post in the thread Consciousness and the Paranormal — Part 9.

Excellent! I'll have a look today. I'm skimming through Harman's book as I'm thinking about re-reading Being and Time and getting into the commentaries a little deeper this time ...

On this approach, the body doesn't suddenly turn up. On this approach, bodies (organisms) theoretically evolved in the same manner as that theorized by evolution via natural selection. This approach does not deny the existence of an "environing...

Kevin D. Randle writes sci-fi too. Is that a reason not to take his factual material seriously?

  9. Trevor Wozny replied to the thread February 14, 2016 — Whitley Strieber.

In regards to Streiber, how can people get past that fact that he is a science fiction writer? He writes science fiction exactly that matches his claims to be true. I know I have read all his stuff. That above all else is a full stop for me....

  11. Trevor Wozny replied to the thread April 9, 2017 — Paul Eno.

I sat through the whole thing. Only spilled my drink once. Now I know why I have never heard of Mr. Eno. His rhetoric seems plausible sounding. It is essentially correct from a specific reference frame. To a point. I have no words for someone...
