Update on Gene, Friday Oct. 3

I received a phone call from Gene today. He is doing a lot better and is now currently in rehab at Citadel Post Acute in Mesa, Arizona. Due to the infection he had in his back, he has been bedridden and now he is in therapy getting stronger so he can walk again.

He isn't sure, but he thinks he still has at least a week before he can come home.

Right now he is in 111 Room 2.

Thanks for the update Tim, I am delighted he is making some progress and look forward to hearing him but I want him to take it slowly and do what is best for him.

It’s interesting how something or someone becomes a part of your life, like this podcast and Gene, and when either of them are not there, it is noticed! I wish Gene all the best on his healing and much support to he family during these trying times. Happy (Canadian) Thanksgiving from a neighbour to the North!
