    UFO detector network?

So... five years later how are the various developments mentioned in this old thread coming along...?

    UFO detector network?

Yes, that's very thorough. I suspect wide-band, omni-directional radio antennas would be good enough to start with. Not thought of gimballed antennas before, but might be useful for pinpointing a source of microwaves if there is a reference point to aim it at first. All your other suggestions...

    UFO detector network?

Thanks for the info mvwinsor. Welcome to the forum. That sounds very interesting and I'll check out those sites. I listen to Linda M-H but she's not really very discerning in what she reports and seems to me to be a bit too accepting of what she's told. But then she has an audience to satisfy...

On the Show — Ron Yakovetti

Yes I've heard some and was underwhelmed I'm afraid. But if you have anything in particular, I'll have another listen. I made some of my own recordings of VHF East European FM stations via meteor 'pings' as a demonstration of how people can be mislead by one particular aspect of the radio...

On the Show — Ron Yakovetti

EVP/ITC is an interest of mine following years of listening to weak voice signals for identification purposes. So I reckon I can identify an anomalous EVP signal when I hear one. I haven't yet, just lots of misidentified signals and sounds from sincere researchers who don't recognise things like...

    UFO detector network?

It was the military study of these objects that revealed decades ago the modulated microwave radiation produed by some of them, as was revealed in the 1980s Jacques Vallee TV interview. Equipment for serious amateur study and detection of these frequencies is widely available now, ask any local...

    UFO detector network?

Are there any updates to any of the ideas in this thread? Did Peter Davenport's passive radar get anywhere at all? I recently came across info that some UAPs emit a 3GHz signal modulated at about 600Hz (a rather terrestrial technology sounding signature!), as hinted at by Ross Coulthart, and...

On the Show — David Altman and Dave Mason: A Tear in the Sky

Just catching up with some episodes. Interested to hear of Dave Mason's electronics, especially the magnetic anomaly/UFO detector. I've built one based on the Hall effect magnetic compass. I'm not convinced of the science behind these UFO detectors, and one way or another they've been around...

    The Calvine Photo

Yes, possibly. But have another read of the photo analysis in the links of the Clarke discussion video here: Analysis Redacted V2.pdf If the other five photos came to light and/or the negatives, I think we could put this case to bed. But they haven't - yet.

    The Calvine Photo

Maybe it's time to repost the links to the original story, since the photograph at the heart of this thread is already being overlooked. David Clarke's blog, who has been on this case for years and who located the photo under discussion...

    The Calvine Photo

A strange coincidence is that a member of the D-Notice* committee was at the time editor of the local paper that was sent the original photos. * Governent panel that advises if contentious material can be published or not.

    The Calvine Photo

Indeed. There seem to be some really good and sensible researchers onto this case. I just hope none of them choose only to pursue evidence that supports their theories. There are various theories, but I don't think anyone has nailed their colours to the mast yet, and I hope none of them do or...

    The Calvine Photo

Let's not get to sidetracked by assumptions. There is plenty of recent factual data about the location, date and analysis of this particular photo. The photos (six in all) were said to be taken on 4 August 1990. Always best to go to the original sources...

    The Calvine Photo

There is some very interesting work surrounding this on Professor Simon's YouTube channel, where amongst other things, he is getting help from people who are going to find the site of the photo. (He is from Scotland; Calvine is in Scotland.) David Clarke - who tracked down this original photo...
