I stopped listening about 30 minutes into it. Don't know how the rest of it panned out, but when Biedny starts lecturing a guest, I tune out.

    Dolan: Fact or Fancy?

I thought the first volume was excellently written; I think he is skeptical of government as any researcher should be, based on that work. He also tends not to throw the baby out with the bathwater, which is another hallmark of good research. LM Howe may not have much credibility with most, but...

Twenty-six ways to slander and intimidate

Good one. Clearly I don't read. But I have watched some fine documentaries, uh oh. Moving on... CapnG, there are various levels of belief, of course. Was the World Trade Center hit with lasers? No, that's ridiculous. Was JFK (only) killed by Oswald? I very much doubt it. Now if someone...

Twenty-six ways to slander and intimidate

Disinformation is by definition deliberate, not hapless. It is directed on behalf of organizations and their goals. I have yet to read of any "theorists" with comparable resources or motivations.

Fun stuff: http://www.paranoiamagazine.com/spookaroonie.html I bet he'd be an entertaining guest.

    Remember The Philadelphia Experiment?

A cloaking device...why not? As good of a guess as any, apart from Elvis's doing :p By the way, Gene, I've enjoyed every one of your Star Trek references on the show. Good to know at least one of you is a fan :)

Twenty-six ways to slander and intimidate

Welcome; I found this a few days ago. The inclusion of the Hitler quote bothered me at first, then I realized how important it is to take diabolical discourse at its word.

Nick Pope in the NY Times

"Today Americans would be outraged if U.N. troops entered Los Angeles to restore order; tomorrow they will be grateful. This is especially true if they were told there was an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. It is then that all peoples...

    Bob Lazar

I vote also to have Lazar on, at least for an hour. Why? I think he points to larger issues of gov't secrecy which are, yes, mundane, but still scary as hell. What else could the national security state be up to? I bet this is at least one of the reasons why Dolan wants him on the show.

Nick Pope's NY Times Op-Ed Piece

I'm surprised that the Times would publish this, but I'm also not too surprised that they would do so only under the 'it's a threat' banner. Fear, unfortunately, is what will be used to 'break' the story when the time comes. And that will be a huge gift to the military-industrial-etc. complex.

Apollo 14 Astronaut claims UFO Coverup!

The Kerrang host is an idiot, frankly, but cheers to Mitchell for sticking with it and speaking (again) to what he knows.
