The Pentagon Disinformation That Fueled America’s UFO Mythology

That's what we're here for.

As to the article itself, it makes a cogent argument about at least some military-related sightings, those in and around installations. But it doesn't come close to explaining loads of sightings that aren't near such places.

Military disinformation has long had an impact on the study of UFOs. Shades of Rick Doty.

Very true.I wish you had this article before Jerry Clarke appearance it would have been interesting to get his take on it.

So much time was spent on the Rendlesham Forest incident. Some were more than likley Bennewitzed.

George Wingfield's book on the subject, "The Rendlesham Forest UFO Mystery & Project Honey Badger," has an interesting take on the case.

Seemingly, George is a interesting character with a few interesting theories. I do not know if you recall some years back there was some jousting on one particular thread involving George, myself, Burnt State and a few others on one of his pet theories not to be associated with his Rendlesham Forest “Honey Badger.” I do believe he was off the mark by a fair distance. Concerning the the Rendlesham Forest incident, some of George's opinions I'll buy. Through recordings it sounded as though some of the airmen may have had their consciousness altered by some type of psychotropic. I do know as fact that the US government in the past has developed these types of compounds occasionally through selective universities.

George postulated that John Lundberg created the non alien mummy.

Ahh, the good ol' days.
