Well it seems that even Ray Fowler has problems with Jacobs and the whole Emma Woods case. Its nice to know that a true research veteran in the field like Fowler can see through the nonsense spouted by Jacobs' followers, and I quote:

"Rather than conforming to the so-called party line critics should at least be open to the possibility that Emma is telling the truth and be willing to examine both sides of the question objectively."

And that is something I myself did at the beginning and found one side of the argument to be totally wanting. Others in this forum might like to have a word with Ray Fowler, or indeed look at it as he has done ie look at the case in a truly objective fashion. It may teach them a think or two about true objectivity and being a human being.

You still have it screwed up. Very few take Jacobs' position here. Mine is that I see evidence that he got in over his head, but it's also clear that "Emma Woods" is a very troubled woman. There may be a fair amount of truth in what she claims, but there's far too much haze in it to figure it all out.

In any case, I haven't seen the article. I don't get that magazine these days, despite the promise to send me a copy. Besides, the article is from The Clueless One, whom, I can attest, is utterly unable to view this matter objectively. I would be hoping that someone would take a more fair and balanced approach to the question.

For example: Very rarely do people actually examine Jacobs' public response on his site, particularly his descriptions of the behavior of "Emma Woods," and compare that to the way she has acted on her site and elsewhere. Jacobs may be guilty of wrongdoing here, but, on that question, his description seems close to the mark.

There you go again, Gene, calling Emma "a very troubled woman", and nothing about Jacobs being an abuser ... just "in over his head". My god, Gene when are you going to wake up here. You have Jacobs admitting to putting ideas of MPD into Emma head under hypnosis ... when he was in an extremely powerful position not to do so ... he could have held back, but he didn't. There is the hypnosis tape in which he asks Emma to send him a pair of used underpants (which was aired on the Lan Lamphere show several weeks ago) ... and now you have a hypnosis tape (remember TAPED BY HIM!!) showing that he wants her to wear a chastity belt to prevent being impregnated by ALIENS.

Do you seriously believe that this is an ethical way to treat anyone regardless of who they are?? Do you seriously believe that Jacobs has been either telling the truth about there being hybrid aliens trying to breed with humans, or that he actually believes this too???

If he does have some evidence to show that there are aliens breeding with humans, let him produce the evidence. Apparently he not only has pictures of ALIENS but also has video of them, and the address of an apartment where they hang out. But nothing ... zip ... nil ... has ever been produced by him ... only really violent pornographic sci-fi books with no evidence whatsoever apart from hypnosis ... which he himself says is extraordinarily weak evidence to begin with.

So taking this all on board, you still think that he is just in over his head, and this woman who may be not the only victim but one of many, all abused and preyed on by Jacobs (most of them being women haven't you noticed) is just "very troubled" and is trying to make mischief even though she shows in one of her audio files, audio file 8 here:

that she tried in an extremely considerate fashion to come to an agreement with Jacobs. Although in the end he wanted nothing to do with it which in my mind shows who the real villian was.

If you cannot see any of this, Gene, then I really feel sorry for you. You really seem to lack any spark of humanity and seem to be utterly uninterested in seeing another human being have some justice over the abuse she (and others, do not forget that) have suffered from an unlicenced hypnotherapist and unethical researcher who has been hypnotising people for many years simply for the kicks. It must be a really horrible place to live.

Until a third party analyses those recordings, including the unedited versions, I'm not apt to make a final conclusion about that. "Emma Woods" is clearly savvy about the online world, witness her reference to a matter involving "Wayback" in a thread in another board, which which represents a fair amount of sophistication.

And what didn't you understand when I said, " Jacobs may be guilty of wrongdoing here"?

As a result of your inability to assess my position accurately, although it's been stated several times already, the thread is closed. If you want to pursue an analysis of his methods from another angle, start a new thread.
