@Burnt State On November 1st you 'liked' this post - from ten years ago. Wow - the passing of time. My politics has gone through a 180' turn, especially on Climate Change. What startles me is how loooonnnng my posts were 10 years ago. Unlikely...
I remember when this article originally came out and I was impressed that the military were being open about the dangers of climate change. It's an unfortunate part of our world where corporate interests are taking precedent over dangerous...
Just a couple of thoughts regarding these two ideas: witness credibility and familiarity as an objective. Generally speaking the curtain of laughter has always been drawn around witnesses and the majority of witnesses rarely speak out. Most...
So sad to hear this news.
Someone mentioned having someone interview Gene. I think that is a great idea.
Reading between the lines, sooner rather than later is likely best. Wish I didn't feel I have to say that but theses things can move fast.

So what is senior sobriety telling you? On my end I spend my time growing my own food at a community garden and am expecting to watch the beginning of the end of humanity before I die. I feel bad for the world my children will inherit. I remain...

The shows could probably be archived on Internet Archive: Digital Library of Free & Borrowable Texts, Movies, Music & Wayback Machine and maybe a couple other places. It all depends on what Gene wants to do.
According to Gene, it has been difficult for him to communicate with the forum and others due to most of his gear at home. I guess he has his phone, but that's it.

I doubt anyone would buy a podcast per se. Would anyone be interested in starting a 501c3 to at least keep the archive up and running? All that being said, I do hope Gene recuperates sometime soon.
I'm so sorry to hear that. Gene's health comes first and I'm glad he's focusing on that, but I know how important the Paracast is to him. I hope that whoever buys it honors the legacy that Gene has created.
Ya, remember when they started calling Noory — "Snorey" :p. That wasn't really fair — because apparently George was a really good guy. Yet the show was never the same without Bell doing his thing. It lost its flavor, and Gene has his own...
I really do not know how the Paracast can be the Paracast without Gene. It is like when Art Bell left coast to coast and George Noory took over. Totally different show. When you are well enough I will phone you and Barbara but I really will miss...
Really sorry to hear this. I hope that Gene recovers and is able to enjoy a well deserved retirement. Hope to hear more of the paracast, perhaps someone else will grab the paranormal reins…
Agreed, but it takes vigilance and some nerdy work to administer most any website with a forum. However, if the member’s forum was temporarily disabled and various fair minded guest hosts without a cohost were able to provide an hour and a half...
I understand Gene is ill but without Gene Steinberg it is not the Paracast. I would prefer that we had some older shows released for six months and Gene came back
In not necessarily considering this thread as the Paracast’s eulogy, just wondering who could possibly fill Gene’s shoes, and then becomes apparent … no one. Sure, the website and show could be purchased by some deep pocketed autocrat (Elon) that...
As someone who has been listening for a very long time, I want to say how much I’ve always appreciated the work Gene put into building this show. The effort he dedicated to this endeavor created something truly special for all of us. Wishing him...
The Paracast was the podcast I started listening to when I first returned to thinking about UFO's, and I met the show in it's very early incarnation in the Biedny days. When you look at the catalogue of shows, the entire Ufological history is...
