This Week's Episode: Gene and Randall introduce paranormal podcaster Katina Kyle, a.k.a. K-Town, a fellow podcaster with a unique approach to these subjects fused by her life experiences. Katina is a military veteran and the host and creator of Mysterious Radio and The X Podcast. In addition, she is the organizer of the Knoxville AlienXPO. Katina has worked in many different fields since leaving the military, but it’s working with children, serving in the military and now podcasting that she’s most proud of. K-Town has had a long interest in all things strange and unusual since witnessing “fire” suddenly start to blaze out of a hill at night when she was 14 years old. Always knowing that there was more going on in the unseen world, she started Mysterious Radio in 2016, and has conducted interviews on everything from UFO and alien phenomena, true crime, strange disappearances, true hauntings and more.

After The Paracast -- Available exclusively for Paracast+ subscribers on October 27: Once again, Special Correspondent William Puckett discusses four sightings. Two occurred on October 23, 2019. One involved multicolored lights moving in a circular motion in Broadview, Saskatchewan, Canada, and the second involved 13 white orbs flying in a triangular and line formation in Bakersfield, CA. A report from Paralimni, Cyprus on October 20, 2019 describes a red dot seen in the sky. Another sighting on that date, near Baltimore, MD, involves a blue and white light that flashed. Paranormal podcaster Katina Kyle, a.k.a. K-Town, continues the discussion started on the October 27, 2019 episode of The Paracast. She joins William to talk about possibly mysterious power failures that may or may not be UFO-related, and moves on to the report from rock star Tom DeLonge, of the To The Stars Academy, that his organization has signed a contract with the U.S. Army involving advanced ground vehicles.

What a Difference Five Years Makes
By Gene Steinberg

Let me put my cards on the table: This column is all about a special package that we offer to listeners to The Paracast.

Back in October of 2014, The Paracast entered a new phase with the introduction of The Paracast+. We set it up in response to concerns from some listeners that we ran too many ads on the show.

Since The Paracast is syndicated in the U.S., we carry pretty much the same number of ads as other radio shows. If you listen to the podcast version, you can always fast forward through the spots, just as you do with a DVR on a cable or satellite TV hookup.

But The Paracast+ was meant to offer an alternative on a subscription basis. When you sign up, you can download enhanced versions of the show without the network ads. We also offer you a second radio show, After The Paracast, where you never quite know what’s going to happen next.

And we don’t either!

What I mean is that it may consist of color commentary about recent shows and paranormal topics, with maybe a touch of pop culture thrown in. Many episodes actually feature the very same guests as the regular episode of The Paracast, where they expand their discussion or tackle different topics. There are unique interviews too.

After The Paracast runs without interruption, and it’s essentially uncensored.

Some of you have asked how best to support The Paracast, and The Paracast+ is it! Prices start at just $1.50 a week, and we also offer monthly, annual, five-year and lifetime packages.

From time to time, we’ve also offer special features available exclusively to subscribers of The Paracast+. They include some show transcripts (we’d love to arrange to offer more) and videos. We’ve also stripped the ads from some of our classic episodes dating back to 2010, and more will be offered over time.

Randall and I are working on more unique content for the next five years — but you have to be a Paracast+ subscriber to get them.

Yes, there will always be a free show, but we’d like you to join The Paracast+ for the best listening experience. And, as I said, it’s the very best way to support the show.

And, if you have suggestions on how to make it even better, we’re always glad to have your input. You can write me by responding to this newsletter, or post a comment in The Paracast Forums.

Next week, we return to our regular commentaries.
