This Week's Episode: After 72 years of ridicule, UFOs are being taken more and more seriously in the mainstream media. So Gene and Randall presents UFO lobbyist Stephen Bassett, executive director of the Paradigm Research Group. The group was founded in 1996 to end what he regards as a government imposed embargo on the truth behind the UFO phenomenon. Stephen has spoken to audiences around the world about the implications of formal disclosure by world governments of what he believes to be an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race. He has given over 1,000 radio and television interviews, and PRG’s advocacy work has been extensively covered by national and international media. In 2013, PRG produced a “Citizen Hearing on Disclosure” at the National Press Club in Washington, DC.

UFO lobbyist Stephen Bassett continues the discussion that began on the July 21, 2019 episode of The Paracast, in which provides an update on possible UFO disclosure, and the possible loosening of sighting data from the powers that be, particularly the release of a treasure trove of CIA documents before the Trump administration assumed power. Just a Little Shop Talk

It’s hard for me to believe that our premium subscription feature, The Paracast+, will be completing its fifth year this fall. At first, I wasn’t certain that our network, GCN, would give the OK to deliver a version of the show free of the network ads, but they did.
But just removing 41 minutes of network ads wasn’t enough, and so we created a second radio show, After The Paracast, exclusive to members of The Paracast+.
Since After The Paracast is not constrained by the FCC and its tight regulations on using more descriptive language on terrestrial broadcasts, our guests are free to express themselves in a more revealing manner. And, of course, there are no commercials. Promotions are generally limited to announcements about a guest’s site, upcoming appearances and books.
To be sure, After The Paracast has been a work in progress. At first it was meant as a wrap-up show, color commentary as it were, about that week’s episode of The Paracast. To that, we added conversation about a wider variety of topics.
But there’s more: Some of our episodes have featured special interviews with guests who did not appear on that week’s episode of The Paracast, such as the May 14, 2017 interview with Monte Shriver, a resident of Aztec, NM at the time of that alleged 1948 UFO crash. Kevin D. Randle featured Shriver as a guest author on several of his blogs, and the long and short of it is that he has good reason to say that no such event occurred.
And did you know that Nick Pope, who managed the UFO office for the British government, also follows conspiracy theories? Well, that’s what he talked about when we interviewed him on After The Paracast.
Since The Paracast resides in a fixed time slot, often the show must end even though there are more things to discuss. When a guest is available, we continue that discussion on After The Paracast, or open up new topics.
In recent weeks, such guests as Nick Redfern and Dr. Michael P. Masters have stayed on to join us on After The Paracast. This week, Stephen Bassett talked to us from his car with more updates on his efforts to lobby the U.S. government to reveal what he regards as the truth about UFOs.
We have also added a regular feature on After The Paracast with UFO researcher and atmospheric scientist William Puckett, of UFOs Northwest, to bring you up to date on recent and vintage sightings. William’s expertise and experience allows him to separate possible unknowns from conventional objects and phenomena.
