This Week's Episode: Gene and Chris present Walter Bosley, an author, blogger, former AFOSI agent and a former FBI counterintelligence specialist. The agenda includes amazing evidence of synchronicity, such as in the recent mass shooting in San Bernadino, CA. that was attributed to terrorism. Walter says, “Essentially these synchs relate to my Empire of the Wheel research and startled me, to be honest.” He’ll also talk about breakaway civilizations, focusing on his upcoming book, “Origin: The Nineteenth Century Emergence of the 20th Century Breakaway Civilizations” and possibly ancient aliens.

Walter Bosley’s Blog: Empire of the Wheel

After The Paracast -- Available exclusively to Paracast+ subscribers on December 13:Gene and Chris talk about the frighteningly polarized nature of news coverage, and how, starting in the 1970s, with ABC’s Roone Arledge heading the news division, entertainment took precedence over factual reporting. Our intrepid duo laments over the fact that current events have outweighed concerns over our paranormal universe. And what about the theory of breakaway civilizations as expressed by author Walter Bosley? Is it possible that one or more breakaway civilizations is directly impacting us, and may be responsible for UFO abductions? Gene recalls the germination of the Shaver Mystery during World War II, before he was born, about two breakaway civilizations (the deros and teros) located within caverns around the world. Gene and Chris return to the problems with news coverage of important events, where facts don’t matter. Also mentioned is talk show veteran Art Bell&r squo;s l atest, of many, retirements from show business.

Sharing the Planet

By Gene Steinberg

We humans would like to believe that we are alone dominate planet Earth. For better or worse, war or peace, whatever happens here is our fault, more or less. We are the most advanced species, and we have no competition other than those involving petty tribal, racial or religious differences.

Indeed, when you comprehend what all that means, you can really become discouraged that we can make it without some major catastrophe that we caused. Maybe it is time to surrender and let the dolphins have their way.

Or maybe ET.

But is it at all possible that we are sharing this planet with another civilization? What if there was another intelligent species, or maybe fellow humans, who long ago decided to set up shop separate from the rest of us?

This is not a new concept. It’s also quite difficult to prove, since this other civilization — and some suggest it is a breakaway civilization — has decoded to keep its existence a secret except perhaps to a selected few. Or perhaps when they do reveal themselves, it is clothed in magic and mysticism, so most people won’t believe it really happened.

Theories about these other occupants of Earth really took off in the 1940s, when controversial sci-fi author and editor Ray Palmer began to publish stories from Richard Shaver. Dubbed the Shaver Mystery, much of it was recast as pulp fiction about the presence of an ancient civilization that existed in caves in various locales around the world. Shaver referred to these beings as “abandonderos,” those who were left behind when a solar catastrophe resulted in harmful radiation being emitted by the sun.

So while a large portion of the population flew off in spaceships, I suppose there wasn’t enough capacity to accommodate everyone, or maybe some overslept on the day of departure. The rest fled into the caves to escape the worst effects. Those who suffered worst became disfigured evil dwarfs that Shaver called “deros.” The “teros” were the good guys. Their descendants still exist, or at least they did when Shaver was still alive.

I’m not about to tell you that I believe in Shaver’s claims, although I knew Shaver in the final years of his life. He always struck me as an intelligent person with a veneer of paranoia, still believing that the deros were after him.

It’s also reportedly true that Shaver spent several years in a mental institution, during which time he claimed to have been in the caves with the inner-Earth dwellers. Or maybe he was railroaded.

In his last years of his life, he presented photographs of what he called “rock books,” which he believed to be crystals left by the ancients that contained an immense amount of historical material, including photos, if you could actually read them. My first wife, Geneva, and I spent a lot of time examining the rock book pictures. I can’t say that I ever bought the claims entirely, though we did see images that appeared to rise above what you’d regard as a Rorschach Test.

Too bad Shaver didn’t survive until solid state technology took over. Perhaps those rocks could have been subjected to sophisticated tests way beyond the level of the primitive tools Shaver was forced to use. Or perhaps, as most believed at the time, they’d reveal nothing of significance.

Of course, fans of Superman and Supergirl will remember that the Kryptonians used shiny crystals as storage devices of sounds and images, including holographic representations of their people. But I don’t think the screenwriters of the 1978 blockbuster, “Superman: The Movie,” were necessarily steeped in Shaver lore. Besides, the concept of using crystalline storage devices didn’t originate with characters from DC Comics.

Setting Shaver aside for the moment, theories about cryptoterrestrials, breakaway civilizations and similar concepts, have been around for years. Author Walter Bosley, a former AFOSI agent and former FBI counterintelligence specialist, theorizes that two breakaway civilizations were established in the 19th century.

Perhaps some of their people met up with us in their airships, thus forming the basis of that intriguing mystery. But I don’t dismiss the possibility that many of those reports were invented out of whole cloth by newspaper editors and reporters hoping to boost circulation with outrageously entertaining stories.

Still, if such civilizations truly exist, do our government leaders know about them? Is there some sort of alliance in which we allow them to do their thing with the understanding that they can otherwise defeat us in a military conflict with their more advanced technology?

How advanced? Well, is it possible they are responsible for that rumored secret space program, where we might already have astronauts living in bases on the Moon and Mars?

So what are those breakaway civilizations up to anyway? Watching us almost literally destroying the environment and making the Earth less habitable, would they choose to take matters into their own hands for their own protection? That may explain the claimed contacts with alleged “space brothers” who warn us about our warlike behavior and the consequences of climate change.

Perhaps beings from other planets wouldn’t care what we do, but those who share this planet with us have the right to be deeply concerned. There are even suggestions that they ultimately plan to take over, or maybe they are quietly infiltrating our civilization even now, preparing for a silent revolution.

Now this hits on a touchy subject, but isn’t that also what Dr. David Jacobs claims about those alleged alien hybrids (and “hubrids”) that he believes are here to conquer Earth?

It’s easy to dismiss Jacobs because of his faulty investigative methods, and suggest his efforts at hypnotic regression resulted in implanting false memories of hybrid aliens in our midst. Or is there any possibility at all that some of it has a kernel of truth, but that it’s not about aliens after all? Remember that his test subjects came to him for help after they had some bizarre experiences that might be abduction related.

Perhaps that’s what those who share the planet with us, possibly cryptoterrestrials, want us to believe, to hide the truth from us. Have they, in fact, already begun to put their evil plans in motion?

That may be a bridge too far for most of you. I don’t buy it either. But the possibility of sharing this planet with other civilizations is intriguing — and a little frightening — nonetheless. Walter Bosley has been exploring the subject for years, and he’s nobody’s fool.
