Ok., I'm about to climb out on a limb. As I have no classical training in any of the disciplines which would add weight to this theory. But here I go.
There has been a lot of discussion concerning the possibility that these entities and objects., (though I personally believe the two are interchangeable) are extra/interdimensional in nature.
All 3D objects exhibit 1st and 2nd dimensional aspects., and thus would be visible in said realms. There is probably a lower dimension which could be expressed as a "point" or static non-linear reality.
Let's assume that that point is the foundation for all the higher structures.,(I'm not going to get into negative dimensions). A shared misconception seems to be that 4th dimensional space is a room who's door is closed to us.
Let's say we go for a swim. We find ourselves waist deep. If the water is clear we look down and see a strange facsimile of our legs and feet., (optics, lucidity). We kick up some mud/silt and our lower half fades to nonexistence.
We no longer perceive it though we know it's there. The boundary is simply the surface of the water and elements within it. Of course all of this is perceived within a 3 dimensional context. After a few hours we no longer feel our lower half., (hypothermia). What evidence do we now have of it's existence? Well, we know we're standing on something. And ever so often., the water clears and we catch a glimpse of our fabled legs and feet. A few more hours pass. We are now fading in and out of conciousness., dreaming of our lower fins, claws, wheels., no., legs. The dreamscape may be the closest thing we have to a model of the 4th dimension. Because on that level., conciousness may be a concrete entity., like a pair of legs or hands. And these "aliens" may be looking down on some lower aspects of themselves., us. Oh, yes., there's also the issue of time. On this level it is a linear experience., past, present, future. I think the next level is not temporally constrained. Or at least there is an additional aspect to time.
What do you think?
