Timekeeping

noddwyd

Skilled Investigator
Ancient civilizations were obsessed with timekeeping and astronomy.

Most if not all of the math is base six mathematics. Why is that? Why do we still use base six math in our clocks?

The oldest civilizations don't offer much explanation as far as I know, they just say 'our gods taught us to do it this way.'

If anyone knows more about this subject feel free to explain. meanwhile I'll do a little research into it.

ive allways felt that the way we measure time is inaccurate, to me its all about how the individual perceives time. that book looks intresting, might have to get a copy.
