Didnt David or someone on the latest episode talk about those squiggly things like that that were associated with Stephenville? They are camera artifacts or something.

Hey theres a clip of the skepticks guide (dont kill me) talking about the "squiggely" lines effect (which seems to be caused by a digital artifact).

Although this doesnt explain the cause of the light that created the effect, but it might at least explain the effect...

Good to see everthings back up, althought I think there are some posts missing (from this thread at least)...

Ok if the object was seen in the sky with the naked eye and was causing a similar effect to view. What could be a cause for this.

I think I remember him saying the effect wasnt the same when seen with the naked eye?

It was in one of the posts that got lost... I'm sure skunkape will give us the lowdown, did you film it an see it (skunkape)?

somewhere here i posted a photo of the object i saw. it turn out much the same. my photo was taken with a new pocket digital cam when it was -3 degrees and the winf blowing sideways.

If you check the original youtube page, theres a long description from the person who took the footage, they say that the object couldnt be seen without using the viewfinder.

That does seem to point to it being a digital effect, however I wouldnt like to say what light source caused the camera to create this effect (I think that it needs a light source to cause the "squiggling", but I'm not at all sure about that)...
