I was saying boo-urns
First off, if you want to watch this movie I suggest you click right on out of this thread ASAP……
I’m not sure where to even start. I just got home from watching this no less the 10 minutes ago. I’m kind of in a haze and stupor, like a confused young man who sees bra ads in the Sunday paper and is wondering why something is “going on down there” from seeing the ads.
Wow. I’m just totally stunned how bad this movie is. I mean, wow. I don’t even think stealing a line from “Comic Book Guy” and saying “Worst…Movie…Ever…” does it justice. There are bad movies and then there is the X-Files 2: I Want to Believe.
I also, want to believe. I want to believe I did not witness what I just watched. It was like a train wreck in slow motion. This was one of my favorite shows ever. I mean I had seen every episode. I loved the first movie as well.
If you read this far then you don’t want to watch it. So, yeah, it’s the X-Files and there was not ONE fucking alien in the whole thing! No space ships, no Area 51, no “Smoking Man”, no “Round Table” meetings of the elite, and quite frankly a reach on a paranormal story line of a physic. It was a very long, bad episode. I wanted to see ALIENS and UFOs and shit like that! Not bad story lines and bad acting! What the fuck were they thinking? Xibit as a FBI agent? Fuck, they could at least of had him “PIMP MY UFO” or something except, oh yeah, there was no fucking UFOs in the fucking X-Files movie!
On top of that, as a slap in the face to someone who is generally interested in the UFO topic, they continue to show that fucking poster of the “UFO” with the “I want to believe” slogan on even though it’s a KNOWN HOAX by some fucking charlatan named "You know who!" Couldn’t they have gotten one of the ones that was at least “questionable” and not a known hoax, a fucking bad hoax at that? Oh yeah, that’s right, they don’t care because it wasn’t about aliens or UFOs, or anything a fucking fan of the series would be interested in.
What a load of crap, I want my money and the time I wasted back. I feel violated. This was the worst fucking movie I have ever seen and this was the first time I have been to a movie theater in over a year because I’m a fan of the show. Disappointed isn’t a deep enough word. I feel ashamed for everyone involved in that atrocity. I still can’t “believe” just how fucking bad that was. Dammit!
