Strange creatures

Until I listened to the paracast, I didn't really know about cryptozoology. I'd love to hear more podcasts about the subject. While some of these creatures sound unbelievable, I think many of these creatures have at least some truth to them. Maybe people exaggerate the truth so it sounds incredible.

What type of cryptozoology creature are you most interested in? For me, I think Bigfoot has got to be the winner - even if this creature is the most criticized in the media.

My favorite crypto animal is the Black dogs of the UK. I read about them when I was about 13 in a book called "Alien Animals" This was a great book with a whole chapter on black dogs. Supposedly these creatures are extrodinarly large and usually have large red glowing eyes. folklore says they are the messengers of death. There is very little information about them but they have been reported for hundreds of years, including one walking into a church and scaring the hell out of everyone. I wish I had more info in them since I do think they are the coolest of all crypto animals. I think the mothman is pretty cool too.

I remember a neighbor talking about these many years ago. I think he reffered to them as "black shacks". And if you looked into the eyes of one, then you are as good as dead lol.

Hmm. Had any experts analyze the photo? Has anyone duplicated it?

Kinda looks photo shopped to me. I say hoax.

Perhaps our cryptozoologists can identify this species, seen in a major American city.
