So I recently downloaded Skype,

And rather than just suggest, (as has been done before on other threads) this as a way for us all to communicate in a more immediate way. Time zones permitting of course.

For anyone interested my username is, "dustyaxe".

Perhaps this thread could be made a "sticky" just for quick reference,
like a sort of directory if there is enough interest.

Skype is video conferencing right? Think Gene and David use it.

I didn't know it was free. I just went to the site, and it appears to be so.

It can be audio or video. Your choice. We just use the audio part of it. You don't want to see us actually working. :)
 
i like skype. i try to use it instead of iChat now. my family is spread around the globe and it is nice to see who i am talking to. the audio and video seems far better than iChat or AOL IM.
